Also called Armenian Speedwell, this Caucus native is a lovely low growing and sprawling perennial covered in blue to violet purple star-shaped 5 petaled flowers in late spring. Leaves are very narrow resembling conifer needles that whorl around each stem.  Requires excellent drainage and is a stellar performer in rock gardens or spilling over alpine themed containers.
