Compact Toad Lily with gorgeous pale gold variegated foliage and sprays of yellow throated purple to red blooms spotted with deep burgundy. Will spread to form a colony if given the right conditions and adequate moisture.  Even before the main show of blooms in the fall, the foliage adds interest to the shade garden all summer long. Planted along pathways is the best way to really appreciate the intricate flowers while at the peak.
