Silene acaulis 1Q (Campion)

Commonly called Moss Campion for its dense bright green mat of foliage studded with 5-petaled pale pink blooms in early summer. These cushions can remain small tucked between rocks or continue to spread wider forming wide dense rounds. Found in most of Canada, the western United States, and the northeast. Requires well drained soil gravelly soil.
