A towering perennial with tall, branching stems topped by soft, pale yellow pincushion flowers reminiscent of giant scabious. It brings height, lightness, and movement to the back of borders and naturalistic plantings, often swaying above grasses and midsized perennials. Best in full sun and deep, reasonably fertile, well-drained soils with room to roam.
