Striking agave commonly called octopus agave, with long, narrow leaves that twist and arch outward, giving a flowing, tentacle-like appearance. Forms a solitary rosette that eventually sends up a tall flowering stalk before dying, often leaving offsets or seedlings. Requires full sun, very sharp drainage, and minimal water once established and is best grown in containers or protected dry beds in colder climates.
